Having both types of wire strainers/grippers the rabbit ear type are by far the easiest to use , I personally wouldn’t buy the normal type compared to the rabbit ear type simply for ease of use of the rabbit ear type

This is another one of Wireman's clever gadgets. Makes attaching the wires a breeze. Bonus is, that you can stay on the same side the mesh is attached to, especially handy if your neighbour's property is on the other side.

Awesome..... I'm not a professional fencing contractor, but a small property owner self-taught with help from Tim Thompson's youtube clips. Have been looking for quality Australian tools and I found them in Wireman Products.
I purchased the StraineX as well as the Viceman stainer board with spreader bar & yoke to help me repair and install new fencing on my property, I couldn't be happier after making do with a Hayes chain strainer, bits & pieces I welded up.

The Viceman 1m strainer board is a very cleverly designed product.
It replaces the clamp strainer board I had been using, since I ended up with enormous kinks in my Waratah Stocktite hinge joint. It is so much easier to use, not having to hammer in the clamps.
