I am fortunate to have found Wireman Fencing Equipment - after watching some of the "Farm Learning with Tim Thompson" videos. Now, I am hooked on their extremely well designed products, and I am blown away by the quality and presentation. My first order were products for fence extensions, my second order was the Strain Walker Classic - Rabbit Ears. This must be the best designed, heavy duty fencing wire strainer - ever. I love that this unit can easily be taken apart, and be used for different chores - in tighter spots. I love the stainless steel chain and fittings. My biggest respect goes to Ian and Fraser, and everyone involved in manufacturing.
Purchased shipped and delivered to my door in Scotland within 5 days! Definitely worth it, very easy to use, and very quick to put on the netting, I wouldn't hesitate if you're wondering about the price. There's non of the hassle of wedge clamps or doing up nuts with a buzz gun!

Strain Walker Classic - Chain Grab Tensioner
I purchased the side gripper for my rachet strainer set and have used it twice since 5th of June and it is fantastic, I'm spewing I didn't buy 2 of them.
I found the side gripper a lot better than the straight gripper, just my opinion though, thanks Wireman for another great product.
Once I’m completely used to it they’ll be really good

These things are the ducks nuts! We sold our farm and moved to a waterfront property. Installed clipex mesh fence so as not to block the view but the farm cattle dog doesn't like people walking on his beach so after repeated dog hits the fence became not so tight. Crinkled in 6 spots and job done. Plenty of places left for more crinkles. Must have taken at least 5 minutes!!!
Should of bought these earlier, way better than what came with the kit.
As easy to use as advertised. I was able to retighten a wire fence following a tree falling on it with 5 minutes work. Much easier than cutting and rejoining and cheaper as well.
We purchased a Strainex Wire Strainer and we wish we purchased one a lot sooner. It makes tensioning a barb wire fence a breeze. There is no guess work either with the spring gauge to achieve the correct tension. The Strainex Wire Stainer is a great investment for any farmer, fencer etc.
The StrainX JTG kit arrived promptly and is a well thought out and easy to use piece of kit. My old strainer was slipping and was a pain to use, now using the new one ,quick ,no slip and easy to get the right tension
