Being new to fencing and researching lots of content on the subject, I was drawn to Wireman's gear. I was unsure to which strainer board and strainers to go for so I reached out to Ian. It's quite clear he is very passionate about fencing. After discussing our situation with undulating ground, Ian suggested the East Ender strainer board and two StraineX wire strainers, which we purchased. The strainer board and strainers are very well made and worked an absolute treat, the digital scales are great for novices that aren't sure how much to tension a fence up to. Once the Jack the Grippers are fitted to the wire they will not slide off and doesn't cause any damage to the wire. Having the strainers at the top and bottom of the strainer board was perfect to get an even strain on the hilly ground we have.Thank you Ian for a great product and really appreciate your friendly no obligation advice. Its the old saying with the Crinkler. Why didnt I think of that. What a brilliant concept and product. So easy to use and first class tough quality that I can see lasting for years and years. Well done to Wireman and I would highly recommend this product to anyone else. Thats honest. I am a real person, not a machine. I bet a machine doesnt have slack wire fences. Well I did, But not now :)
Love the wire stariners from wire man, Have two of them now and would have no problem buying a third. Some bit of kit to have in the tool box. Easy to use and easy to remove from fence lines.

Used on two different brands of stars, clean fit to Waratah and a small amount of hammering to fit onto Stockpost. Coupled with Davo's Fencing Clips and Davo's Reel clips for an exclusion fence with a finished height of 2m.
